Preparing your Business for Brexit: Seminar Series

Rush hour on London street at night

12 February 2019 - 14 February 201912:00 AM-12:00 AM

With a level of uncertainty around the outcome of Brexit, including far reaching consequences that could affect New Zealand exporters, NZTE is holding a series of seminars to help New Zealand exporters to prepare.

Nick Swallow, Trade Commissioner to the United Kingdom and Ireland, will update businesses on the current political situation in the UK, provide practical information on how you can prepare, and answer your questions.

Representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MFAT), the Ministry for Primary Industries (MPI), and the New Zealand Customs Service will also provide updates on developments in the UK and how New Zealand is preparing for Brexit.

These seminars are aimed at New Zealand exporters that operate in, trade with, or do business with the United Kingdom and the EU.

For those joining us in person, each seminar will feature a 45-minute presentation followed by 15 minutes for Q&A. There will also be an opportunity to network with other exporters to the region. Light refreshments provided.

Wellington’s seminar will be streamed live for those who cannot make the seminars in person.
