The rainy season in Malaysia depends on which coast you’re visiting, but as a rule everywhere is good between March and October. It’s also a good idea to familiarise yourself with Malaysia’s national holidays, as some businesses may close during these times.
Before you go, check Safe Travel for travel advisories on Malaysia.
Malaysian people will generally only do business with people they know and like. This means your best bet is to do some research into local customs and practices so that you make the right first impression and build a strong relationship.
You’ll find plenty of cultural information to help you in our guide on this page.
