About this role
We are recruiting a Managing Director for Australia, based in Sydney to lead our presence in country. The role is responsible for managing relationships with major institutional funds, corporations and other investors, articulating a cohesive proposition about New Zealand as a capital destination generally, and helping to originate specific investment opportunities across the core verticals.
Reporting into the Chief Executive, this is a highly influential role that blends regional and industry coverage and comes amid a period of reset for New Zealand’s FDI agenda, offering an immediate opportunity to shape the culture and work of Invest New Zealand, and its reputation among leading investors.
We are interested in candidates who have operated in senior investment banking or investment management roles, as well as executive leaders with a multinational or corporate background who have developed new markets.
