Types of cookies we use

More information about the types of cookies used on our websites, and how they are used, can be found below. This list is not exhaustive, and the cookies we use may change and be updated from time to time.

Third parties and third-party cookies

We set our own cookies, and we also use or allow cookies set by third parties on our websites – which are cookies from a domain different than the domain of the website you are visiting. For example, these are likely to be statistics or marketing cookies of analytics providers, social media platforms, and advertising networks that we have engaged or use.

Clarity, Google LinkedIn and Facebook are examples of third-party providers that may set cookies on our site. This is not an exhaustive list, and the third-party providers we work with may be reviewed and changed from time to time.

We use web analytics services from Google Analytics. Google utilises the data it collects via cookies on our websites with data collected across other Google services. To find out more about how Google collects and processes data, go to: http://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites

Microsoft may use personal information it receives about you from our website for any purpose in accordance with the Microsoft Privacy Statement, including to provide its offerings; improve Microsoft's products and services, including reporting and performance analysis; and to create user profiles for purposes that include advertising. Microsoft may also use non-personal data it collects in connection with the offerings to provide and improve Microsoft's products and services.

Our websites contain links to other sites which may not follow the same privacy policies as we do. We take care when we choose websites we link to, but we are not responsible for their content, accuracy or privacy practices. We do not control the practices of content providers, partners, advertisers or other third parties connected with any of our websites and to whom you provide personal information whilst using one of our websites or our services.

We suggest that you check any relevant privacy policies before providing your personal information to any third party.

Changing the settings of your cookies

Most browsers accept cookies automatically, but you can choose to refuse cookies by manually adjusting the cookies settings on your internet browser, using (in the case of Google Analytics) using the Google Analytics opt-out tool and/or by deleting them from your hard drive (we find this is a less common approach).

You generally do not need to have cookies turned on to use our websites. However, you may need to have cookies turned on to log on to one of our websites and to access personalised or secure content on our websites, and if you disable or block all cookies (including necessary cookies, where able) this could affect your browsing experience.

Cookies duration

Except for necessary cookies, all cookies will expire after 1 year.

Amendments

We reserve the right to change this Cookie Policy at any time by posting an updated version on our websites. Continuing to interact with us after a change (e.g. by accessing our websites or receiving our services) constitutes your consent to the updated Cookie Policy.
