Becoming an acceptable managed fund
At a high level, to become an acceptable managed fund, a managed fund must:
Be a New Zealand resident entity.
Meet the criteria in the AIP Visa Immigration New Zealand Instructions.
Read the guidance notes.
Submit an application to Invest NZ.
Be assessed as an acceptable investment and be added to the Acceptable Managed Fund list maintained and published by Invest NZ.

Process overview
Going forward, an investor migrant who invests in that business must provide the Invest NZ letter of confirmation to Immigration New Zealand as evidence to demonstrate that their investment is considered "acceptable" in accordance with the AIP Visa Immigration New Zealand Instructions.
Application form submitted to Invest NZ Investment and applicant receives email confirmation.
Invest NZ Active Investor Plus Committee assesses applications. Applications are assessed approximately monthly.
Application is approved or declined as an "acceptable investment", or if more information is required for an outcome to be determined.
Approved applications will receive an acceptable managed fund letter or email of confirmation from Invest NZ, and be listed on this website.

2040 Ventures: Punakaiki Fund (PFL)
