Shelley Guerard

Shelley Parker Guerard (Ngāti Porou) serves as the Māori Customer Director at NZTE, Te Taurapa Tūhono, and alongside her team of Customer Managers, supports exporters as they navigate the globe.

Shelley has an export DNA, having held private sector executive commercial leadership and general management positions, bridging onshore and offshore manufacturing right through the value chain from ingredient through to consumer brands, reaching consumers across the globe. This has built Shelley's full value chain appreciation of global strategy, executing through diverse business models, global partnerships, and product innovation.

Developing and delivering commercially sustainable outcomes have called her to her current kaupapa, as well as her more recent private sector roles, including heading Asia for Icebreaker.

It’s with a deep sense of pride that Shelley has been taking a slice of Aotearoa to the globe, now driven by a passion to help unlock Aotearoa’s unique quadruple bottom line global potential for a better future for our people.
