Named New Zealand hi-tech start-up company of the year in 2020, Dawn Aerospace has been making a name for itself in the space industry with their non-toxic satellite propulsion systems and innovative suborbital reusable space planes. 
 
Founded in 2017, Dawn Aerospace is based in Christchurch New Zealand, with a second significant facility in Delft, The Netherlands. They have been exporting their in-space propulsion products to customers globally since 2019. 
 
Co-Founder Stefan Powell hopes their green propellant, a combination of nitrous oxide and propylene, will become the industry standard and replace the toxic and highly regulated space fuel, hydrazine. 
 
Dawn's ultimate goal is to replace rockets, radically reducing the barriers and costs associated with spaceflight. The combination of their two key aerospace products will enable the end-to-end architecture required for launching and returning spacecraft in a scalable and environmentally conscious way.

FTN Motion's mission is to make the world's most beautiful moped-class electric motorcycles while reducing congestion, commute times and pressure on the planet. 
 
Different by design, their moped-class e-bike has a unique, classic motorbike feel paired with purposefully minimalist technology and layout, for a stress-free, uncomplicated riding experience that will be loved by commuters and adventurers alike. 
 
Designed and created in Wellington by co-founders Kendall Bristow and Luke Sinclair, the Streetdog has seen huge demand, with the bike's first release last year selling out in just days. The waiting list for the second release, planned for 2022, continues to grow exponentially. The company has raised $1.6 million since launching in late 2020, with both raises oversubscribed.
