There are about 58 of us, including six trade commissioners, working collaboratively in a fast-paced, multicultural commercial environment in some of the world's most dynamic, sophisticated markets, spanning regions in which billions of people live.
We work to support New Zealand businesses of all sizes across the region, to help them grow bigger, better, faster for the good of New Zealand.
We're responsible for:
helping New Zealand companies to design a local business strategy
helping businesses to connect with the right in-market partners
promoting export and investment opportunities
promoting and leveraging "brand New Zealand" across the region.

The roles we recruit most often are:
business development managers
trade commissioners
marketing and communications
regional operations
office managers.
Travel, visa and language requirements:
For some roles, you must be able to travel, domestically or internationally, although how often varies according to the position.
You must have the legal right to work in the country where a role is located.
For most roles, you must be fluent in the local language, as well as English.
For some roles, you might need to go through specific security clearances and vetting procedures.
